Bright brick red in the glass, with attractive ruby highlights. The nose is forward and fruit driven, overflowing with cranberry and raspberry fruits and a touch of green spiciness. Deep and brilliant ruby purple before releasing a nose of fresh plums and blackberries. Soft spicy tones and red peppers clearly define the variety while aromatic herbs, stony notes and sweet oriental spices give length and complexity. Composed of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah and aged in Old Oak for 12 months. It has a brilliant, deep ruby red colour with intense aromas of red fruits, pepper, spice and liquorice. It's a full bodied and powerful wine, well balanced with a very long finish.

The Pesquera Reserva Especial 2003 has a ripe cherry red, opaque garnet rim.On the nose it has hints or ripe fruit, ink, leather, vanilla and coffee. Well integrated wood. On the palate it is full-bodied, tasty, marked but smooth tannins and good acidity.

Made from a blend of 57% Grenache, 29% Syrah and 14% Mourvedre. The character is somewhat wild, a little brambly with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices, with vanilla scents and a distinct, concentrated red-fruit focus.
